The researcher, from the Department of Chemistry and Bioengineering of Guangxi Normal University, completed the paper on the microwave extraction process and antibacterial activity of the mountain blue red pigment, published in the important journal .


Taking plant mountain blue as raw material, microwave solvent assisted extraction of red pigment. The extraction process was optimized by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment, and the red pigment fraction was preliminarily purified by column chromatography. The results showed that the microwave power was 300 W, the ratio of material to liquid was 1:40 (m /V), the extraction temperature was 60 °C, and the extraction time was 9 min. The optimum conditions for microwave extraction of sapphire red pigment were obtained. The extraction rate was 0.323%. The mulberry red pigment has an inhibitory effect on Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus, and the minimum inhibitory concentrations are 500, 400, 700, 500 mg L -1 , respectively.






The aqueous extract of the mountain blue plant was extracted by microwave extraction, and the red color part was separated and separated by column chromatography for bacteriostatic experiments. Microwave extraction time, solid-liquid ratio, extraction temperature and microwave power have an effect on the extraction efficiency. The degree of influence is extraction time > extraction temperature > material-to-liquid ratio > microwave power, microwave power 300 W, material-to-liquid ratio 1: 40 (m / V), extraction temperature 60 °C, extraction time 9 min is the best extraction condition, the extraction rate of sapphire red pigment reaches 0.323%, and has good stability. Bacteriostatic experiments showed that mulberry red pigment showed antibacterial effect against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans and Staphylococcus aureus.
